Marques Douglas was a former professional American football player who primarily played as a defensive end in the National Football League (NFL). He was born on March 3, 1977, in Greensboro, North Carolina. Douglas played college football at Howard University before entering the NFL. During his NFL career, Marques Douglas played for several teams including the Baltimore Ravens, San Francisco 49ers, Tampa Bay Buccaneers, New Orleans Saints, and Miami Dolphins. He was known for his tenacity on the field and his ability to disrupt opposing offenses. After retiring from professional football, Douglas pursued a career in coaching. He has worked as a defensive line coach Marvin Ridge High School and has been a consultant for several Profession coaches. Additionally, he has also been involved in coaching youth football programs, demonstrating a commitment to developing young talent. Marques Douglas has also been active in philanthropy, particularly in supporting educational initiatives and community development programs in his hometown and beyond.
